Working as a group, this full day course will look through a series of real life cases which were encountered in a single 24 hour period, within a busy Emergency Clinic.

Within this session, we will cover a variety of disorders and work through them one at a time, as if that patient was in front of us.

This course will cover:
  • Interpretation of Physical Examination findings
  • Imaging of patients
  • Blood work (what is important & when)
  • Blood Pressure measurement
  • Analgesia & nursing care plans
Emergency cardiovascular, endocrine, infectious, gastrointestinal, urinary and neurological disorders will also be covered during this session.

This is an interactive course, with plenty of time for discussion and reflection.  You are encouraged to bring along notes on any cases you have encountered in practice, of which you would like to discuss further.
