The use of blood products in veterinary medicine is growing rapidly and is now common place in many veterinary practices in the UK. 

This half day course will cover the rational use of blood products in the treatment of common clinical conditions of dogs and cats, including both anaemia and coagulopathy. 

There will also be a discussion of the best practice behind the collection of blood in practice for transfusion, as a well as how to monitor and treat any transfusion reactions occurring.
