Improving Your Knowledge of Imaging (Medical Cases)

This is a full day course, covering ways in which to get the best out of the imaging modalities used in general practice by nurses, in order to diagnose and manage common medical cases.

Within this session we will cover:

  • Plain radiography
  • Contrast radiography
  • Ultrasonography
  • Advanced imaging (CT/MRI)

Additionally, we will take a closer look at diseases of the cardiorespiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary systems. 

This course will be a series of lectures, as well as a look through multiple case examples, of which we will critically appraise their images together as a group.
