Does seeing a rabbit anaesthetic on your operations list strike fear into you? Would you like to be more confident monitoring rabbit anaesthetics and providing analgesia?

Rabbits are often befallen by several common health problems. Learn how you can best help nurse these rabbit patients to ensure optimum care.

During this half day course you will look at:

  • The health problems that are frequently seen in rabbits, how they can be prevented and what treatments may be used
  • Successful anaesthesia – drug choices and their affects, monitoring, airway management and being confident with rabbit anaesthesia
  • Providing analgesia – pain is not a pleasurable experience, we will take a look at what can be done to ensure rabbits receive adequate pain relief.
