This is a full day course covering the most common diseases of the urinary tract in general practice.

Within this session, we will look at how these disorders arise, how we diagnose and treat them and how we can effectively nurse the patients back to health.

The disorders we will take a closer look at include:
  • PUPD
  • Pyometritis
  • Acute & chronic kidney disease
  • Feline lower urinary tract disease
  • Urolithiasis
  • Urinary incontinence
  • Prostatic disease
We will also discuss specific nursing topics including laboratory analysis of these patients and nutrition.

The course will be a series of lectures, along with several case studies we can work through as a group.
