Dr Ambra Panti

Ambra graduated in Italy in 2001 and after some time working in small animal practice, moved to the UK in 2004. She spent five years in Cambridge where she completed an internship and a residency in Anaesthesia at the University of Cambridge.

In 2009, Ambra moved to private referral practice, working for a brief period at The Animal Health Trust and later at Davies Veterinary Specialists where she stayed until October 2013. She decided to make the move back to university and join the Anaesthesia team at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies because she missed teaching students, residents and working with a variety of different species.

Ambra holds a RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Anaesthesia and an ECVAA Diploma. She has completed the WVAS Foundation course in veterinary acupuncture. Her anaesthesia interests include regional anaesthetic techniques, total intravenous anaesthesia, pain management and gastro-oesophageal reflux in the perioperative period.
