RVN

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2001 in small animal practice and then went on to work in referral practice specialising in anaesthesia and diagnostics. I gained the diploma in advanced veterinary nursing (medical) in 2007, a teaching qualification in 2012 and am currently completing an MSc in veterinary education at the RVC.

At home I have two cats called Maria and Diego, three tortoises called Bumpy, Herculina (was Hercules!) and Miranda, a snake called Ben and two dogs Jeffery and Prudence who our Potters Bar students will be familiar with. As this little bunch keep me fairly busy I have little time for other hobbies but I also enjoy gardening, dog training and I regularly locum in a local veterinary hospital.
