Simon Hinks

Simon began his career as an Accountant before moving into direct sell holidays. He spent many years in Financial Services as Head of Merchandising, Process Design and CRM. Data Protection was always been on his agenda and since setting up his business fourteen years ago, he has worked across many different business sectors for both B2B and B2C, including being a judge for the DMA and Loyalty Awards UK and South Africa.

Most recently he has been working solely on GDPR and its implementation into businesses. This has entailed auditing, policy writing and training of staff members and teams on how GDPR affects their day to day roles. A member of the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) and the GDPR Institut, he has written core training modules for the IDM (Institute of Direct Marketing) GDPR certificate which won an award. He also lectures MA Students at the University of Philadelphia on the global impact of GDPR.
